Today's monumental presentation by Steve Jobs about the future of the Macintosh is available
as a streaming QuickTime movie. All this afternoon, it has been a wonderful portrayal about why video-over-broadband is completely not ready for the big time. It is jerky, it drops out and doesn't recover for tens of seconds, and it is plain unwatchable. We are many years away from this being at all interesting to average consumers after they see a live sample in their home.
